All bids must be submitted on or before February 20, 2018 at 3:00 pm.  Bids will be opened at this time at the Board office, 602 Walnut, Wellsville KS.  All bids must follow our current Board Policy as included in this notice.  Questions about this project will be directed to Jerry Henn, Superintendent, USD289.  The phone number is 785-883-2388.

 

Rejection of Bids

The board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to ask for new bids.  This reservation shall be specified in the publication or notification of bid letting.

The board reserves the right to waive any informalities in or reject any parts of a bid.

 

SCOPE OF WORK:

Provide and install (1) Unit controller for RTU-A1.

• Provide and install (4) new VAV controllers to include the following rooms.

• Provide and install (4) new wall sensors with adjustable setpoint and over-ride

• Provide DDC controls programming, web graphics, commissioning and start-up

 

• Provide and install (1) Unit controller for RTU-A2.

• Provide and install (6) new VVT controllers to include the following rooms.

• Provide and install (6) new wall sensors with adjustable setpoint and over-ride

• Provide DDC controls programming, web graphics, commissioning and start-up

 

• Provide and install (1) Unit controller for RTU-A7.

• Provide and install (7) new VAV controllers to include the following rooms.

• Provide and install (7) new wall sensors with adjustable setpoint and over-ride

• Provide DDC controls programming, web graphics, commissioning and start-up

• Owner training as required

• One year parts and labor warranty

 

Specifics

Wellsville would like the retrofit of RTU A1 RTU-A2 and RTU-A7 (3) control units and (17) VVT boxes. The Siemens controls will be removed and new distech controllers will be provided. All new devices must work with the existing JACE, along with the necessary sensors, programming, and graphics.

Ultimately, this system will be required to be a completely non-proprietary open system so it can be modified by anyone.  It must fully interface with the system we have.
