Breast Cancer Awareness 5K Walk/Run

The WHS Student Council will be hosting the second annual 5k Breast Cancer Awareness walk/run on Sunday, April 27, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Students and community members are invited to join the walk which will begin on the WHS track and route around the Wellsville area. Cost for the walk is $15 per participant and $40 for family registration (3-6 members). All proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Participants will receive information about breast cancer, and those registering by April 15, 2008 will be guaranteed a t-shirt on the date of the walk. Participants who register at the walk may have a 1-2 week wait on shirts. Registration forms may be picked up at the Wellsville High School office, The Wellsville Bank, Auburn Pharmacy or download from link below.
Student Council is also looking for sponsors for the walk. Any businesses donating $50+ will have their business name added to the back of the walk shirts advertising their sponsorship. Last year was the first year for the walk and we were able to donate $824.00 to the Komen foundation.
