Wellsville FBLA Wins Districts--MS & HS
Since becoming a member of District VII in 2007, Wellsville FBLA won the district competition for the sixth year in a row with 479 points. The second place school had 261 points. Wellsville FBLA had 49 members compete in over 45 different business related events. Of the 49 members who competed, 41 of them placed in the top 10 in an event. There were 14 schools in attendance and over 400 students competing.
As a first year middle school chapter, the 8th grade Middle School FBLA also won the Middle Level District VII competition. They had 200 points, while the 2nd place team had 111. There were 4 middle schools (all 3A size) competing in our district. Eleven of the 19 middle school students who attended from Wellsville placed in an event or multiple events. There were over 50 middle school participants in attendance.
