Reminder that Summer Meals start tonight from 5-6 pm. Bulk meals will be provided grab 'n go style on a first come first serve basis in the High School Cafeteria/Commons area.
Summer meals will be offered to children of families who qualify for free and reduced meals from the 24/25 school year. A staff member will be on sight to help families fill out an application if needed.
We must have a completed application on file from the school year 24/25 before meals can be given. If an application isn't on-file, you will be asked to complete one on-site, and all children not enrolled in the 24/25 school year must be seen in person. (Required only if application is not already on file.)
When you arrive, after the eligibility status for your household has been verified, you will receive a ticket with the designated pick-up person(s) and the number of children in your household who are able to receive meals. This ticket will be required in-order to receive meals for the summer meal program.
If you have any questions, please contact the District Office at 785-883-2388.
Thank you!

Congratulations Grace and Kaylee on earning All-League honors!

Hello!
We’re excited to kick off our Summer Meal program and want to make the first day as easy as possible for you and your family. Here’s what to expect:
When you arrive, you’ll receive a meal ticket with the name of your designated pick-up person(s) and the number of children in your household. This helps us prepare the right number of meals and makes the process smoother for your family and staff. The ticket you receive will be required to pick-up meals after the first meal service.
We must have a completed application on file before meals can be given. If we don’t have your application, you’ll be asked to fill one out, and all children must be seen in person. (This is only required if you do not have an application on file.)
Only families who qualify for free or reduced-price meals are eligible to receive them.
The first meal service is this Wednesday, June 4 from 5-6pm.
If you have any questions, please contact the District Office at 785-883-2388.
Thank you for your cooperation!

Hello!
A few changes have been made to the Summer Meal program this year to help create a smoother process for families and staff. The following changes have been made:
Meals will be served (grab 'n go) once a week on a first come first serve basis. (Every Wednesday 5-6 pm., June 4-July 23)
Meals will be prepped in bulk instead of pre-packaged single serve meals.
Meal service will be offered to children who qualify for free or reduced status from the 2024/2025 school year only.
If you think that you may be eligible, a staff member will be on site to help assist with applications and determine eligibility.
Daycares and babysitters can not pick up meals for children under their care; only Parents/Guardians may pick up meals for their qualifying households.
If you have any questions regarding Summer Meal service, please contact the District Office at 785-883-2388.
