HS Wrestling Awards Night will now be Friday, March 25th at 6:00 PM in the HS Commons.
There will be no Spring Sports practices today. MS Scholars Bowl has been postponed.
Due to the projected snowfall tomorrow, all USD 289 classes for Thursday, March 10th have been canceled. USD 289 students will not have any off campus classes (technical college, etc.)Thursday or Friday (3/10 and 3/11). While the forecast would possibly allow us to get students to school safely tomorrow, getting students home safely is a concern. In taking into consideration, daycare needs, challenges related to mid day releases, etc., this was the best option to support the safety and needs of students and families. Additional information regarding activities will be sent out tomorrow. Stay safe and warm

Due to expected weather conditions, the USD 289 groundbreaking ceremony has been postponed until Wednesday, March 23rd at 5:30pm. All other details and locations remain the same. The ceremony will be located outside on the southwest side of the KD (red) gym. There will be cookies and beverages provided in the concession stand area immediately following the ceremony.

Congrats to WHS Band as they tied for 1st Place at the Pioneer League Performances yesterday at Iola! Wellsville and Prairie View tied with 64 points, and Anderson County took 3rd with 62 points.
WHS Band has been working hard all year and should be proud of their recognition!

Due to forecasted weather the 4th Annual Artstravaganza scheduled for Thursday, March 10th will be postponed to a later date. We plan on still having all of the awesome activities and fun, just without the cold and potential snow.
