All USD 289 classes are canceled for today, January 23rd, 2024. While many roads are clear, all bus routes have areas throughout the route where roads remain snow-packed, icy, and slick, ultimately making them unsafe for buses. Decisions to cancel school are not taken lightly, and as part of the assessment, our staff and I began driving routes at 4 am this morning, but unfortunately, road conditions are not safe to run buses and have school today. A decision will be made regarding activities and posted to the district website by noon today.
Tonight's game BVSW vs Baldwin has been postponed. The game has been moved to Wednesday, January 24th at 6:00 PM in the KD Gym.
HS Basketball and HS Wrestling will have non-mandatory practice tonight from 4-5 PM. Please only attend if it is safe to travel.
There will be no MS Basketball practice tonight.
The MS Boys Basketball games with Burlington scheduled for today have been postponed.
